Short answer: Amazon has not announced a separate Diwali sale for 2026. Reports from the trade press point to a window of roughly 19 to 31 October, but that is an expectation from past years, not a confirmed date. The Great Indian Festival opened on 8 October 2026, and Diwali falls on 8 November 2026. Treat any date you see for the second sale as unconfirmed until Amazon lists it.
What is confirmed and what is not
| Item | Status on 11 October 2026 |
|---|---|
| Great Indian Festival 2026 opened on 8 October | Confirmed, sale is running |
| Prime early access, up to 10% extra savings on select offers | Reported at launch |
| 10% instant discount with SBI credit and debit cards | Reported at launch, minimum order and cap apply |
| End date of the Great Indian Festival | Not announced |
| A separate Amazon Diwali sale, around 19 to 31 October | Expected only, not announced |
| Diwali 2026 | 8 November |
What to do if you are shopping now
- Buy what is at a real low today. A deal that is already at its lowest price this year will not necessarily get cheaper in a second sale. Check the price history before you wait.
- Wait for a second sale only if the item is not urgent. Nothing is announced, so waiting is a bet, and popular models can sell out first.
- Check the bank offer maths. A 10% card offer has a minimum order value and a per-card cap. Work out the final price after the cap, not before.
- Keep your own screenshots of the price and offer at checkout, in case an order is cancelled.
How we will update this page
We will change the dates and offers here only when Amazon posts them. Until then this page says “expected”. If you are on our WhatsApp channel you get the confirmed dates and the real lows as they appear.
